It's an important part of your birthing plan, ensuring that you, your partner, and your new baby have everything needed for a comfortable and stress-free hospital stay. Unsure what to pack? Administrative Essentials

These items are crucial for identification, registration, and ensuring your birth plan is followed.

  • Driver's License: For both mother and father.

  • Medical Insurance Cards: To facilitate smooth processing at the hospital.

  • Social Security Cards (Optional): Handy for completing birth certificate and other formalities.

  • Copies of Your Birth Plan/Preferences: To communicate your wishes to the healthcare team.

  • Pediatrician Name/Information for Baby: So the hospital staff knows who will be caring for your baby after discharge.


For Mother

Your comfort and recovery are paramount, so pack items that will help you feel more at home.

  • Comfortable Clothing: Loose, easy-to-wear gowns and a robe.
